JD DeWitt develops and packages material for film and television and has relationships that span from publishing houses, best-selling authors, screenwriters, and studio executives. Currently, JD is producing the feature film BENEATH CHARCOAL CREEK (America Young/director), and the feature film CHRISTMAS RODEO with Eric Jarboe, a docuseries 13 DAYS IN FERGUSON (co-production w/Cedric the Entertainer), and LEAVING MEMPHIS (Jonathan Prince/director).

JD enjoyed a successful 14-year career in the media business–from talent agent to literary management. After selling her talent agency in 2012, JD combined her relationships in the entertainment business with her passion for working with authors and began to connect writers directly with Hollywood. Her business, 5 Sons Media–which merged into 5×5 Productions in 2018–conducted the annual “Connecting Writers With Hollywood” event, attended by established writers and entertainment executives. JD’s relationships span from the top five publishing houses to best-selling authors and screenwriters to studio executives.
